Tamarind Tree hosts and offers various learning expeditions, cultural exchanges, internships and work on the farm programmes to researchers, activists, academicians and student groups. Following an unconventional and multidisciplinary pedagogy, programmes include academic inputs from external faculty, experiential learning through interaction with community and field activists engaged in the local discourses, as well as long and short duration village stays that could include participatory field work. Institutions/Groups can select or develop thematic programmes based on emerging contemporary realities of the region.

Tamarind Tree's programmes are sensitively and creatively developed to ensure that the community is an active and vibrant participant, not merely viewed as a 'subject” or a tool for learning. Tamarind Tree advocates and promotes cross cultural learning between rural and urban communities, students and marginalised groups. Programme promote and nurture reflective thinking.
