The Tamarind Tree Pre Primary School started in June 2010 in Sogve village, Dahanu taluka with the aim of setting up a culturally contextual Pre Primary Learning Centre, in order to create a stimulating atmosphere for tribal children to harness their true potential. With 40 children currently enrolled, the school is multi-lingual weaving in English as well as the community's rich oral narratives and traditions. We are looking for volunteers to spend time at the school doing art & craft, origami, puppetry, magic or just story telling.
